EXCITING new paper project for Twin Cities Stamping Gala

This past week was a lot of fun and a lot of trauma. Here is a short version for you to see what I mean. First of all, my beautiful daughters went to the dance at school. This was an amazing night and I was super proud of them. It was also fun since I got to chaparone again. Maia has been on the Cooper Dance Team for the last four years and this being her last in high school it was important for me to be there . Its so weird that they are growing up and she will be moving onto grown up life soon:( sniff sniff..

So that was on February 23rd. Then on the next Thursday Sara was in a bad accident and she was hurt by the airbag. That is so hard to watch your babies in pain and hurting. Poor girlie:( She is feeling the prayers, and her face abrasions are really starting to heal. I have no idea how much will stay, or how many internal injuries will show up more but I am grateful that she is here and alive. I love you Sara...

ok, the next night was Maias dance team banquet and we had a BLAST! This was a lot of fun since my friends catered it amazingly and I got to make the graduating senior gifts. These photos show off Maias album and those of her friends too. There are four girls graduating and they are so awesome. they all have big plans for the future and its great to see them growing up so much...

Also this album is one class we are featuring at the Twin Cities Stamping Gala in Brooklyn Center this spring. My team the Angelettes and I are working hard to create GREAT projects for our classes and booth. The convention is March 29th from 6-10 pm, and March 29th from 10-5. We are holding 6 brand new classes too. I will be loading project photos soon to this and my team blog, The Angelettes. Invite your friends for the convention cause its going to be a TON of fun!

If you would like to take the class there its a $25 fee, and includes this awesome 5x7 tin album, with the papers and everything to complete. Its going to make a super graduation gift for some of Maias friends this year and would also be a great baby gift, or just about any themed album.

Awesome new project

I just love these books now, and my grandbaby angel Michele had some cut for me. So here is the latest one that I made this past weekend. WOW I love it. Its a composition book, cut down to half size and covered with papers. I just adore the new papers in our collections, with everything coordinating you can whip out a project like this in no time! In fact last night I did two more for my girlfriends birthdays. We went out to the Olive Garden to celebrate our birthdays. We have been great friends for over 14 years now. WOW!

So here we go:) First I covered the comp book with the papers from Amberley Grace. I also love how the paper matches out stamp set Butterbees and more! Its a new fave for me.

I stamped with my alltime fave stamp from Curls and Swirls. And then using a glitter gel pen traced and highlighted some of it to really bring out the curls.

This was such a breeze to coordinate, cause I used the matching ribbons in the Amberley Grace collection! You get 5 cool matching ribbons, one yard of each. SO EASY!

I also punched out some tabs with our Mini File Tab punch, in coordinating papers from the Amberley Grace papers. Again, its all matching so you dont have to think a bit about it.

The Be Authentic stamp set is another that really never leaves my stamptable. Its perfect for tons of projects and I used the BLESSINGS word from it to stamp the front piece for the book.

I used a bit of the black ink to distress the edges and its finished. You just have to get one of these going...think of the possibilities.

Blessings

Today is a great day! Its full of blessings and blessings just waiting to happen too. First of all yesterday I got to stop and check on a lady whose car was broken down on the road. It was like 10 below out there and freeeeeezin!!! She was ok, and that made me smile. So that is the first blessing.

Today, a lady walked in and her name was blessing. How cool is that? I would love that to be my last name...blessing. THATS ROCKIN!

Now the girls told me to sign up for facebook, and the I did a while ago but never did anything with that. Ok today I went in there and kelly, my friend that i actually started stamping because of her said HEY! I called her and we caught up for a bit. It was a big blessing to hear a bit about her life and the fam too.

Next? All these cool people i get to see everyday. This has to be the coolest job as just chatting with nice people all the time is awesome. I love this place!

and now? onto my book...

For most of us its hard to take the time for the needed sleep. Here at work its so nice to see people taking a few minutes for themselves. Hey you deserve a few minutes right? why not let yourself enjoy some time this weekend. Just a few minutes if that is all you can but just for you. something that makes you smile. A nail polishing, bubble bath, or whatever makes you tick. Just do it and bless yourself!
