Annettes icky updates

Ok, I am logging into my friends computer to let you all know I am without a computer for a bit. My Surge protector didnt catch the surge or lightening that hit the electronics here...so the home computer which was not online anyway, and my laptop which I work off all the time are blown.

Be sure to have one of these, my protector is about to pay off! Since it wrecked my stuff and the job was to protect it I am about to get mine repaired or replaced ( both the home and laptop) for free! So register those cards, keep your receipts and I will let you know when I am online again:)

For those of you waiting on stuff for me to send, I lost the edited files but have recreated and am working bugs out of the photo cd from seminar! I am excited. It took a while but thats all good.
My computer guy is amazing and helping me here with all of it.

Shirts are done and will be mailed out too. YAY! It was hot baking them to heat set the glitter but so amazing to have about 25 of the sparkly things sitting here looking awesome. I love glittery shirts. awwww

Also, I have to send out Kudos to Que computers in Minneapolis for it was them that told me about the warranty. I went in there to buy a new cord since mine started sparking! It had been burnt through when the surge or lightening hit. I didnt know that and am feeling VERY blessed as it was sitting on the carpet overnight sparking. WOW that was a God thing:) considering what could have been:(

Ok, so call me if you need anything ok? My internet box blew out as well so a new one is being sent out from Qwest. Hope its here soon.

Have a blessed day all!

Moms 75th birthday card! It was worth the time

I really wanted to share this card, an extreme card I made for my Moms 75th Birthday. My mom is simply the best. I love her TONS and wanted to take the time to really make her something that shows how I feel about her. She is amazing!

I started out with the Amberley Grace collection of papers, and used the line of coordinating ribbons, hardware and cardstock. It was super easy, all went together without me worrying about it. The coolest thing is you can just run through the catalogue to see which paper collection is perfect for your occasion and go from there. I know my Mom, and she loved it. Its simple, classy, elegant and just plain perfect. I just loved giving it to her!

I used my scorpal of course to make the parts fit perfectly and without breaking the cardstock. The scorpal is so cool for that. I have lots of cardstock that just didnt fold right, until now:) I also used my cropodile to set all my hardware. TIP!!!: keep the instruction page from the package for both of the tools nearby. It has saved me TONS of time and I have great results! Inside, I used tons of tags and fun stamps to decorate, with thoughts for my Mom. Really expresive thoughts that make me smile:)
Then I used cute little pockets created again with that fabulous scorpal! It just Scorpalicious:) Everything just lays flatter if you know what I mean by that. Its a huge difference.
This is one of my fave sets, and was an amazing hostess set last year so I got it free. Just one perk of being an angel with TAC.

And finally a little love note for Mom, to make it super personal with real handwriting! I love you MOM!!!

Ive been tagged!

I have been tagged by Melissa

I was super thrilled to see this! Thankyou Melissa

I need to answer the following questions and then tag 5 or 6 fellow bloggers by visiting their blogs and inviting them over to mine so that they can see what the requirements are!

Ten years ago:Was just starting out stamping, and had just completed our family with baby #5, Madison Mae:)

Five things in today’s ‘to do’ list: Call my mom, Finish projects to be mailed, get some groceries, plan FOUR parties, Post to the blogs

Snacks I enjoy: ice cream, real buttered popcorn and milk chocolate:) yummm

Things I would do if I was a millionaire:I would have SO much fun! First I would get my whole family in a home that is paid for, then ( and yes I have thought about this a lot) I would start a company to help out hard working families with their debt and housing problems. Struggles like these really hit me hard and its just not cool that so many hard working american families are without basics like bedding, school supplies, housing and regular meals. Oh and working cars!

Places I have lived: A minnesota native, I was born here and have lived in the Twin cities metro area all my life.

So, I would like to tag
